Deviled Eggs
Ingredients
- 6 eggs Hard-boiled
- 1/4 cup Mayo
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 2 tsp Yellow mustard
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp Sweet pickle juice ( see below )
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 dash Tobasco sauce ( optional )
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 1/8 tsp Pepper
- 2 tsp Paprika for garnish
- 1/4 cup Bacon bits for "garnish" ( allegedly optional )
Instructions
- Place eggs in large saucepan, cover with water.
- Bring to a boil for 1 minute, remove from heat, and let sit 17 minutes (fully hard boiled).
- Peel eggs.
- Slice eggs lengthwise in half,
- Remove yolks and transfer to a medium bowl.
- Add mayo, butter, mustards, pickle juice, sugar, salt, pepper, and Tabasco sauce. Use a fork to mash well.
- Pipe or spoon into egg halves.
- Sprinle with paprika and "optional" bacon.
Notes
Add 1/4 tsp sugar if you're not using sweet pickle juice.
Replace with vinegar if no pickle juice available.
