Nougat

Keto version – use my keto corn syrup, and allulose instead of sugar.

Nougat

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 large egg whites
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter ( to taste, can vary from 1/4 to 1 cup )

Instructions
 

  • Bring corn syrup, water, and sugar to a boil.
  • While boiling, whip egg whites to a stiff peak.
  • Keep beating the egg whites and slowly stream the sugar into the mixture. This should fluff up and remind you of marshmallow.
  • After the sugar is incorporated, add vanilla and peanut butter, and mix just enough to incorporate.
  • This will need to chill for at least 4 hours to set.
