I found that making 4 flavours at the same time was a mistake – the gelatin acts very quickly, and I should have whisked the hot water into the powder more quickly. Popping the bubbles with a toothpick, or skimming off the bubbles is also a good idea.
Keto Gummies
Ingredients
- 1 packet Sugar-free Jello (approx 3g, varies by flavour)
- 2 packets gelatin, (approx 14g)
- 1/3 cup boiling water (80ml)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add the package of Jello and 2 packages of gelatin and mix well.
- Add 1/3 cup of boiling water and whisk until fully combined and gelatin is fully dissolved.
- Place silicone mold on a baking sheet.
- Measure the same amount of liquid into each well.
- Refrigerate 30-40 minutes, pop out the gummies.
- Store in the refrigerator.
Notes
- For edibles, add THC drops to each mold to your specifications. 5 mg in a 1tsp gummy has a very strong taste.
- 5mg in a 1tbsp gummy, and adding some flavour extract to the jello mix to mask the taste is a good idea if you don't want the gummies to taste like the THC drops.
