Vanilla Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp Salt ( omit if using salted butter )

Instructions
 

  • Just mix everything in a bowl, scraping the sides down every 45 seconds.

Notes

You can cream the butter and sugar, but I don’t think it’s necessary.
It’s surprising how much sugar can be absorbed by the butter.
If this is too thick (no such thing, but if there’s still clumps of sugar that you just can’t get to mix into the butter and cream cheese), add a splash (1 tbsp) of milk.
